Hello.

Welcome to our neck of the woods.

We moved to this stretch of Pacific Northwest forest recently after my husband’s grandfather passed away. It was his home, and now it’s ours.

We’re slowly making it our own, raising children, goats, chickens, angora rabbits, and too many (or not enough?) cats. We homeschool, garden, and preserve what we grow. We also share the recipes we love most.

We also forage for wild plants and mushrooms, and use what we gather to dye, cook, or craft. Natural materials find their way into most of our projects, whether we’re experimenting in the kitchen or making something by hand.

This space is where I keep track of whatever I’m working on, be it knitting, quilting, carving, natural dyeing, soapmaking, or anything else that sparks my creativity.
